Shipping and Transit Cover

Package Weight

The difficulty in calculating the weight is due to the diversity of orders. We have about 100 different product sizes and several paper types plus mounting etc.. all with different package needs, which could use flat packs or tubes or both.
In either case, if you choose the wrong post charge (higher or lower) we will adjust the charges to suit..
1) Let us work it out. Choose 500grams and if the parcel exceeds 500gms we will adjust as necessary. We endeavour to make post charges as low as possible.
2) Try to work it out yourself. To give you an approximation of the weight see the list below.

Print SizeQuantity @500gramQuantity @ 1Kg
5x7matte78158
8x12matte2763
12x18matte1020
20x30matte (in tube)27

If ordering larger than 8x12 prints, we will pack print(s) into a tube. If ordering multiple sizes along with prints larger than an 8x12, we will pack all prints into the tube unless the print becomes wound too tight in which case the smaller prints will be packed in a box and attached to the tube. (The longest parcel express post will accept is 39" including packaging.)

Insurance

Great care and research has gone into the preparation, packaging and forwarding of goods to the freighting carrier you have chosen, therefore once the finished product has left our premises the responsibility for the product passes from Digital Works to you the purchaser. It is therefore at the onus of the purchaser to arrange insurance for the carriage of the goods prior to despatch. Please see Transit Cover

In our experience

Considering the volume of parcels we send, thus far, Australia Post has proved to be the fastest and most reliable carrier with the fewest delivery errors and the fewest damaged parcels.
